With a passion for raunchy comedy, Randy Ciak and Ian Zagaglia have been creating funny videos since the very beginning of internet video. Even before YouTube emerged, they produced and shared online videos, earning a place among the first internet humor pioneers. Their repertoire included Jackass-style videos such as “Penis in a Rat Trap,” “Fart Lighting,” “Smoking Pubes,” and “Stun Gun to the Balls.”

As their writing and video production skills advanced, they embarked on creating the “Public Excess Show.” This show featured a blend of sketch comedy, daring stunts, playful pranks, hilarious music videos, and interviews with local sports, fitness, and comedy luminaries. They actively broadcasted it both in Rhode Island and on YouTube. Furthermore, some clips from the Public Excess Show even actively appeared on programs like “MTV’s Ridiculousness,” “The Graham Norton Show,” and various “Most Extreme” compilation series.

Controversy erupted when the “Public Excess Show” featured videos like “Penis in a Rat Trap” and “Rake in the Ass,” containing full nudity, on the Northbridge, MA public access station. This incident prompted swift and comprehensive revisions in public access television content regulations. Consequently, a strict prohibition on nudity was actively imposed.
